Reflecting on 2022, we take great pride in the accomplishments that we achieved as a collective of diverse community-driven organizations (CDOs) united by a shared mission of investing in adolescent girls’ agency.
Highlights
2022 was filled with unprecedented obstacles as the world recovered from the pandemic - disrupting how we work, collaborate, and impact others. Through resilience and determination, we continued dreaming, collaborating, and co-creating with our partner CDOs to positively impact girls' lives.
Since collaborating with CDOs, over $1.4 million in total funds has been directly granted or mobilized for our network of 40 CDOs, whose work is woven into improving the lives of adolescent girls and young women in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Malawi. This support has enabled the CDOs to implement projects and programs impacting over 170,000 girls.
