Thank you for joining our International Day of the Girl girl-led event on the 11th of October.
AMPLIFY Girls believes in developing Girls’ Agency for their success. Defined as a girl’s ability to effect change in her environment, our partners have identified Agency as a critical measure and outcome of their impact on girls through their programs. On International Day of the Girl (IDG), we celebrated the power and potential of adolescent girls by highlighting girls’ voices in leading change and the role of Community-Driven Organizations in developing girls’ Agency to enable this change in communities.
Co-created by girls, our virtual event, titled 'GIRLS’ AGENCY: IN THEIR OWN WORDS’ constituted a panel discussion and a storytelling session where girls shared powerful stories of change, resilience, and impact.
